Hier even review;

Dit is ook een aardig stukje;
Citaat:
The Vredestien tires do not weigh 4lbs more (per tire) than the PS2's.
Tlud, you really need to get some better sources.
Vredestien tire weights direct from the manufacturer:
245/35/19 = 26.38
255/35/19 = 27.38
275/30/19 = 27.67
275/35/19 = 29.01
295/30/19 = 30.01
Michelin tire weights direct from the manufacturer:
245/35/19 = 23.87
255/35/19 = 25.35
275/30/19 = 24.97
275/35/19 = 26.91
295/30/19 = 29.14
*Tire Racks weights are rounded off to the nearest whole number for all Michelin tires.
If you do the math, you end up with a difference of 2.0-2.5 lbs in most sizes.
That's still 1.5-3.0 lbs. per tire lighter than Bridgestone RE-11's or RE050A's. Bridgestone tires are excellent performers, but be let's be honest here...those things are boat anchors. (they always have been)
One other important point needs to be made here as well...
The Vredestein Sessanta's will last longer (on average) than the Michelin PS2's. (several thousand miles in fact)
I have run these tires myself for a number of years, and recommended them to a number of my clients. The Sessantas have a higher treadwear rating than the PS2's (280 vs. 220) so they are even a better value that they appear. Real world city/hwy driving bares this advantage out.
Bottom Line: This is why I recommend the Sessanta's over PS2's:
* Nearly half the price of the PS2's
* 95% of the performance of the PS2's
* They last longer than the PS2's
No offense to the Michelin PS2's, they are fantastic tires.
I've used both tires, and I honestly do not believe the PS2's are 2x better than the Sesanta's. (to justify the nearly 100% difference in price)
The Vredestein Sessanta's are a pretty hard combination to beat, and trust me that is not easy to pull off. Genuine bargains in the high-performance market are very hard to find these days.
Wie heeft ervaring hiermee en/of kan er iets zinnigs over melden?.................
