I was hoping to get it done in time for June 23 Vrij Rijden. (Atleast, the first stage of the build). It all comes down to the finances.

I've already cut some bigger goals, and moved those projects for the car to next winter.

Yeah i think everyone of us has this problems, finishing the build fast is mostly problematic by the financial situation, but i think your outcome will be really nice

Yeah im trying to get one which isnt fia valid anymore on ebay, but most that i find for good price are not in my size
As i am still at university i only can try to catch all the stuff for cheap prices from 2nd hand

Though you should just go and see Biesheuvel autosport. They have a large selection of suits, pretty cheap ones too.

Mooi project Percy, en een mooie kleurencombo op je wagen.

Ik ga je ongevraagd wat advies geven. Ik heb wat rondjes Zandvoort gezien. Probeer meer bochten in de derde versnelling te nemen. In de twee kom je vaak met maximum toeren de bocht uit waardoor je alle eventuele voordelen door opschakelen verliest. Door in de drie te blijven word je er ook beter bewust van dat je momentum in de bocht moet houden om niet dood te vallen.

Ik ken de Honda techniek niet, maar het lijkt er nu op dat de bakverhoudingen erg lang zijn. Op het rechte stuk kom je nu niet eens aan je maximum toerental in de 4. Daar is nog veel te halen.

Hey dank je voor de advies en netjes om te horen dat je mijn civic vinden goed
De versnelling van mijn wagen is niet optimal voor zandvoort, in zolder het werkt veel beter. In zandvoort zijn veele bochten waar ik niet weet op 2e or 3e. 3e gang is te lang an veele bochten omdat ik dan problme hab met het verloop.
Ik weet dat er is en versnellingsbak van en 75ps civic van en specific bouwjaar met koortere 3e en 4e maar zijn zeker niet simple te vinden, maar ik denk dat zon bak goed will werken in zandvoort

Gearing is a difficult thing to get right with a D series engine unfortunately. Have the same problem. An S20/40 B000 gearbox would solve it a bit but still isn't optimal...
