Totally awesome and very, very fast E30 M3 for sale. Still road registered, MOT'd and taxed but most at home on track and quite able to humble newer, more expensive machinery.
2.5L race engine with most amazing specification and dynos just short of 300BHP. Mapped by John Reid Racing - one of the best engine tuners around, using a DTA ECU - it is a genius map and very usable until you hit the sweet spot after which it is totally mental. Dyno sheet and specification are attached.
The engine is mated to an Elite Racing sequential gearbox which I had made to ensure that all the ratios are just perfect - there is only a 1000rpm drop between shifts and I have two gear sets for different tracks. Graphs available. The propshaft is custom made and feeds a 4.27 / 70% diff. I have another 3.9 diff and the original gearbox and propshaft etc.
The cage is custom cage - fully welded and bolted to the diff carrier for added stiffness. Brakes are AP rear and Tarox 310mm on the front all running Ferodo DS2500. Removable Sparco wheel, custom loom, Stack dash, fully plumbed Lifeline - the list goes on. She is just about a full race car - just needs in date seats and harnesses. I use it as a really fast track car - I take it to all sorts of trackdays and it is totally amazing - easily as fast as a CSL / 996 GT3 over a lap as she only weighs about 1150kg and the brakes are phenomenal. I take her to Porsche Club days and give the porker boys some shock and awe - they need a 997 GT3 RS or similar to outgun me and I always have the biggest queue for passenger ride! It has to be said though that she is rackety clackety loud like an old school race cars as the sequential box, zero noise insulation etc make it a proper aural experience.
Body is in good condition - could always do with a bit of TLC. She is pure BMW white and all the artwork on her is in vinyl and easily removed.
So much more to tell but space limits - please call me on 07930 322664 or email for more information

This car drives like a go-kart, and makes everyone smile. It has featured in Retro Car and Mini World magazines, run at the Brighton Speed Trials, and numerous track events. I am the second owner, having bought it in 2004. It was off the road for a couple of years while various improvements were made (many bills available). We also drove it to the Le Mans 24hrs with a roof box (which is included).
Currently, it has 10 months MOT and tax, and is insured as a kit car for under £300, fully comp.
No time wasters, please.
