Fantastisch huis. Vorige week voeren mijn vriendin en ik langs de kust bij Marseille, hardop fantaserend over een huis zoals dit op een plek zoals die. Toch wel een mooie droom voor later, wie weet!

Built 30 years ago, the house was renovated recently. Its current owner, John Steininger, says of the spacious property: "It's very convenient because you can easily give your guests and yourself some privacy. The 'cube' is separate from the main house, the rooms downstairs are also out of view from the living room, kitchen, swimming pool. For the kids, there are a lot of areas where they can play."
Leading off from the living room there is a spacious outside area for entertaining. It has a swimming pool, a number of terraces, a garden and a vast, protected dining terrace. The property stretches to 1.7 hectares.
The main house has an open-plan kitchen. There is an additional kitchen in a two-bedroom guest apartment. In total, the house has seven bedrooms. The master bedroom not only has a large en-suite bathroom, but an outdoor shower, too, in its own courtyard. Apart from a seating area with a fireplace and separate TV room, the house has six bathrooms. Mr. Steininger says the area is a "real pleasure" to live in. "It is very quiet, even though it's close to the center of Santa Gertrudis, and a few minutes outside the town of Ibiza. You have beautiful views of forests, and you don't see any neighbors." The house is listed with Knight Frank at €7 million ($9.3 million.)

Gaaf design, wel een beetje kil interieur. Minpunt is dat het op een rijstveld is gebouwd...

Zo, ik ben al een tijdje niet meer in dit topic geweest, maar er staan weer een paar plaatjes bij zeg! Dat huis op Ibiza van hierboven! Wow! Dat zou ik echt 1000x liever hebben dan het 'gezellige' huis in Yellowstone.



Hier in Eindhoven centrum staat ook een woning te koop voor een betaalbaarder (ahum...) bedrag...een oude textielschool die naar een woning is omgebouwd. Erg mooi, en je zou totaal niet zeggen dat je in de binnenstad zit. Zo zie je van de buitenkant ook totaal niet hoe mooi het binnen is.
