The new diesel car will try to grab a place among giants such as Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Ferrari Enzo and will provide a direct transfer of technology from the 2012 Audi R18 e-tron Le Mans-winning race car.
The company suggests that this hypercar will be called as R10 and will feature some tech developed for the 2012 R18 e-tron Le Mans-winning race car. The details on the powertarin are kept under the cover.
But, the car could provide a combined power output of about 700 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque that would enable it to reach 62 mph in three seconds and a maximum speed of 200 mph.
The excellent performance, low consumption and cool looks will make it a success. The R18 Le Mans warrior has one electric motor each at the front wheels that use electricity generated from the flywheel. It will provide the car a performance edge while catapulting out of a corner.
