A truly epic roadtrip taking in all the must-do roads in the Alpine region of Europe covering many historical locations and classic destinations.
The roads will include the Ducati testing grounds in the Alsace, the route Napoleon, a Monte Carlo rally special stage or two, Pagani testing grounds in Italy and all of the best Mountain passes including the San Bernadino, Grimsel, Fluela and Stelvio.
For the culturally minded (with a Petrolhead Twist) we will be visiting the Mille Miglia museum, get a behind the scenes tour of the Lamborghini factory and museum as well as paying homage to the Grand Prix buildings at Reims.
The Hotels have been chosen as much for their friendliness to our members as for their high star rating and location. So we have a mixture of 4 and 5 star petrolhead havens with secure parking. For example our hotel in Davos where we stay for 2 nights is a 5 star spa and pool retreat so you can digest the wonderful roads you have driven and recuperate for the next set.
We're also stay in the stunning town of Annecy (known as the Venice of France), Cannes and two stunning French Chateaux as well as staying a night at the top of the Stelvio pass ready for the sunrise at 9000ft and an early morning run to work up an appetite for breakfast. (It’s the only 3 star hotel on the tour but the location is 5 star!)
Included in the tour are extras you wouldn’t normally expect. For example, not only have we arranged bed and breakfast, but your evening meal is included on every night of the tour (you will have to pay for your own drinks though!!) We provide walkie talkies for every car (for comfort we recommend you bring headsets) Full sat nav route files for TOMTOM, Garmin and Nav-man. Comprehensive drivers packs containing detailed route notes, maps and important information.
A tour manager, mechanic and support vehicle (possibly 2 depending on demand) equipped with a comprehensive toolkit and some basic spares. All entry fees to the Mille Miglia museum,the Lamborghini factory museum plus a guided 'behind the scenes' tour of the facilities at Sant' Agata.
