[img:1300:900]http://images.leftlanenews.com/content/ ... 63-amg.jpg[/img]Spy photographers caught the first images of an undisguised Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, based on the 2008 C-Class, revealed earlier this year. The AMG sports sedan will deliver somewhere between 400 and 500 horsepower.
Although our spy photographer was quite a distance away, a long lens enabled us to see the quad tailpipes, as well as – if you look closely – the “C63” and “AMG” badges.
The final horsepower figure for the C63 remains a mystery. The 6.2-liter V8 is capable of producing up to 520 horsepower — in the CL 63, for example — but will likely be tamed to around 420 horsepower to compete with BMW's new M3.
