Viva la Diva....

Wednesday March 1st, 2006 - Built in conjunction with Alfa Romeo, Espera Sbarro are presenting the DIVA concept at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Styling cues for the prototype hark back to Alfa Romeo's past, and with its large gull-wing doors, the still unnamed designer is obviously influenced by the iconic Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.
Unlike previous Alfa Romeo concepts, the Diva breaks barriers that Alfa Romeo's own Centro Stile might not. For instance the front end treatment takes Alfa's familiar face, but with a modern, more 'Formula One' edge. And, unlike the flowing 8C Competizione released in 2003, the Diva is noticeably chiseled and features a bevy of hard lines.
There is no word on specification for the Diva, however we know it sits on a heavily modified 159 chassis with its engine located midship. Overall the Diva seems smaller than the 159 and has proportions similar to the Lotus Elise.
Until March 12th, the Diva and several other Sbarro prototypes can be seen on their stand (2244 in Hall 2) at the Geneva Motor Show.

Achterkant is heerlijk klassiek. De neus past daar naar mijn idee niet goed bij. Maar designen dat kunnen ze.

Ik ben benieuwd hoe ze de motor willen koelen met dat design.Zitten geen openingen aan de voorkant en ook niet aan de zijkanten.Vind t niks btw

Heel mooi, maar zal nooit komen, krijgt geen fiat van Fiat, is gewoon een kwijl exemplaar voor ex-afla fappers zoals Peter en vele anderen die hooguit nog een 75 of ouder hebben die langzaam een word met de natuur

Motor naar het midden verplaats, aandrijving naar achteren, hmm nee dat werkt nog steeds niet.
Heeft echt niets met de 159 te maken. Er zit zelfs niet de 3.2 V6 uit de 159, maar het aloude V6 blok uit de 156 en consorten. Chassis is van carbon dus.
Heb nog wel foto's van de posters die de techniek uitleggen.

Klopt is een design school. Ze hebben ook weleens de 155 in een studie projectje gedaan::

Maar het mooie van concepten is dat er toch wel wat zal blijven hangen bij Fiat. Ze zijn daar echt niet gek.

Zou wel een hele woeste stap van Alfa zijn om deze op de markt te brengen binnen 2 jaar, ik zie het alleen niet echt gebeuren

Volgens mij zitten er joekels van gaten onder de koplampen.
Ding is gewoon mooi...
