Dutch Spring Run '08
Finally Wim and I got to it and have set a date: Sat 3 and Sun 4 May.
Sat 3 May will be meet 'n greet in the morning and a visit in the afternoon. Plans of that soon. Maybe Harry's meteor-engined Bent if he's up for that. I'll ask friday.
Then eat 'n drink in the evening, pick your hotel.
Sun 4 May is rallyday.
We'll start at 10 and team up at 9 in Vuren near Gorinchem, which is in the centre of Holland and near the highways so easy to get to. We've found a top location with good parking 'en route' of our trip: Herberg de Swaen in Vuren.
We'll do a village-to-village run, easy to find, no complicated stuff. Tom-Tom sissies start programming
Leerdam, Asperen, Geldermalsen, Buren, Zoelen, Maurik, at Eck & Wiel via the Lekdijk to Rhenen untill Wageningen where we'll have lunch in a typical Dutch stylee: on a pancake boat! Approx 13 hrs we think.
Into the woods: Oosterbeek, Rozendaal, Velp, Rheden, Dieren and through Holland's smallest village Bronkhorst with the ferry to Brummen. At the famous
Car Gallery|http://www.thegallerybrumme ... ollection/ we'll have a coffeebreak and drool over the gorgeous stock they have there. At about 5 we head for Kootwijk via Eerbeek, Loenen, Hoenderloo, Otterloo to Kootwijk. I'll try Restaurant Kootwijkerduin for dinner.
Easy access via A1 highway to Amsterdam, Hook, 'Ring or wherever you want to go from there.
Since May 5th is a Bankholiday and the last day of our Dutch Spring holiday most guys from the list can make it, right?

Lijkt mij op zich ook wel gaaf aleen welk vervoer moet ik dan meenemen........
De 328i staat dan nog in de schuur stof te happen en her en der verbouwd te worden dus zal ik al misschien de BMW K1 moeten pakken.....
Naja, ik zal er nog ff wat nachies over slapen
