Zowel wetenschappers uit Duitsland, Finland en Zwitserland rapporteerden in de laatste uitgave van het wetenschappelijke tijdschrift “Nature” van 28 oktober jl. dat men meer dan 8.000 jaar moet teruggaan om een ​​tijdstip te vinden waarop de zon zo actief was als in de laatste 60 jaar. Op basis van een statistische studie van eerdere perioden van verhoogde zonneactiviteit, voorspellen de onderzoekers dat het huidige niveau van hoge zonneactiviteit waarschijnlijk nog een paar decennia zal voortduren.

The US Gouvernement Accounting Office (GAO) kan niet achterhalen welke voordelen de belastingbetaler ontvangt voor de vele miljarden die elk jaar besteed worden aan het beleid dat schijnbaar gericht is op de aanpak van de klimaatverandering. Volgens de GAO, zijn de jaarlijkse federale klimaatbeleidsuitgaven gestegen van $ 4.6 miljard in 2003 tot $ 8.8 miljard in 2010, of voor een totaal bedrag van $ 106.7 miljard over deze hele periode. Dit is allemaal ons belastinggeld!
