The day we all waited for has finally arrived! Today we enter a new phase in the development of this great project and we are so excited to be finally able to share the following things:



The new website is online! As you can see it has had a beautiful overhaul in terms of branding and functionality. We believe that this website grants us the professional appearance that honors our development and great community.



Community We are a community based project and we would be nowhere without you guys. Lots of experience, knowledge and contacts have been offered in the last two months which made the scalability of this project easier. We do, however have one concern about the behavior of some in our #ECC group. We are known as a respectful/helpful community with a great culture and we would like to keep it that way. That is why we are going to enforce a bit of discipline in communication.



Partnership Some partnerships are just bound to happen. Via one of our helpful community members we came in contact with one of the leading video-communication companies in the Netherlands. The fine men of Video4commerce were drawn to ECC from the start and accepted to produce a brand presentation video for us. Not much later we closed a partnership which means that they will produce professional video content for us in the future and are going to actively promote ECC amongst their many globally renowned clients. Btw, if you need a professional video for your company you can now pay with ECC.



Wallet The new wallet comes online with the website. This includes the long awaited OSX version. Not only have we changed the look but in the back-end lots of improvements concerning speed and security have taken place. This wallet will function as the last frontier for something we’ve been working on in secret for a while.



Something Blue A rough blue-ish gem in the crazy world of crypto. It is a poetic reference to our secret project with the codename SAPPHIRE. SAPPHIRE will replace our current wallet and enables our services to be implemented within one application. It forms the new base from where we can start with our actual services. SAPPHIRE will have the complete overhaul you are all hoping for. SAPPHIRE is in a well-developed stage and will be available in the near future.



Marketing So there it is! We opened the curtains and as you can see lots has been done. From all the willing marketing experts we picked the best and formed several international branches. These branches of marketing experts (from different disciplines) are going to actively promote ECC in their region, seeking for partnerships and publicity. Just to be clear, this also includes Asia. If you know good marketers for Asia, we are looking!

Wil niet zeggen dat ik niet denk dat ECC nog een paar knallers kan maken in 2018... daarom hodl!

Ik zei al tegen Erik via de chat, ik geloof absoluut niet dat het gaat moonen. Alles ligt op z'n gat. Niks knalt omhoog. Elke dag gaat alles -10% en dan weer +12% , om het vervolgens de dag erna weer te herhalen. En dat inmiddels al 2 weken lang ofzo.

Eerst moet de marketcap stijgen, ( van alle crypto ) en pas dan kun je wat gaan zien veranderen.
Momenteel is het saai.

Mooie ECC website, dat zeker. Dat is een goed iets en ook belangrijk, marketing is in cryptoland minstens zo belangrijk dan de kwaliteit van de techniek. Nu hopen dat ze de development rate opschroeven. Dat team van developers is echt (te) klein. Net die nieuwe walletsoftware gedownload, die is visueel precies hetzelfde (op ander logootje na) dan de vorige verouderde Lynx software. De screenshots op de site komen ook niet overeen met de daadwerkelijke software. Die 2 partnerships (met een videobedrijf uit Nijmegen en een marketingbedrijf uit Montegro) zijn niet erg bijzonder al helpt het natuurlijk vast wel mee. Die mobiele wallets zijn nog niet live zo te zien. Sapphire klinkt interessant maar heb nog niets gezien. En, waar ik op hoopte, ook nog geen nieuwe listing bekendgemaakt bij een grote exchange. Ik denk dat dat voor de stroomversnelling gewoon enorm belangrijk is, om snel op een exchange als Binance of Bittrex te komen.

Ik wil niet negatief zijn maar eigenlijk is er vanochtend op een nieuwe site na niet veel gebeurd. Geloof ik in het project? Ja, dat zeker wel. Maar de snelheid van ontwikkeling (op elk gebied) moet wel hoog blijven en hoop dat ze snel op betere exchanges komen.

De Sapphari (mobile) wallet inclusief ANS komt 'soon'. En dat is in dit geval op zeer korte termijn.

Met de file storage lekker een grote harddisk kopen en geld verdienen met gedecentraliseerde opslag.

Ik denk dat de Cryptopia exchange snel gaat volgen.
