The Fastest Lap
The record lap would be set by Nissan's top shoe, Suzuki-san, who ultimately turned in a lap in 7 minutes, 38 seconds on a partially wet circuit. Those ominous clouds looming in the sky earlier in the day left their mark on two areas of the track, Kesselchen and Wehrsiefen, and required Suzuki-san to rein his speed in a bit.

Beating a 911 Turbo around the Nordschleife is an accomplishment at any price, but pipping it by 2 seconds, on a partly damp circuit, at an estimated price point of $80,000 is something else entirely.

In addition, recent reports indicate the GT-R lapped the Nurburgring's Nordschleife in 7 min 35 seconds — placing it in some pretty elite company. That time trails the Pagani Zonda F by two seconds and the Koenigsegg CCR by one, but the GT-R lapped the track faster than a Mercedes SLR McLaren (7 min 40 sec), Porsche 911 Turbo (7 min 40 sec) and the Corvette Z06 (7 min 42 sec).

Toch vreemd, in Japan al te koop en nog weinig echte tests in de bladen hier in Europa.

Wat een auto, dat filmpje hierboven bij het inhalen van die Ferrari is wel imposant ja ...

In het wit ook super, maar zwart staat hem ook geweldig.

Denk ook zelf dat blauw een vette kleur zal zijn.

In het Engelse Top Gear Magazine staat een test. Dat is met een auto uit Duitsland (06-kenteken), die ze bij het Nissan test-center op de Ring hebben opgehaald. Ze waren behoorlijk positief, al had de GT-R toch een klein beetje moeite om een 997 Turbo écht voor te blijven op de Autobahn.

Ik ben benieuwd hoe die in het echt zal zijn. Hij ziet er op de foto's namelijk erg erg stoer uit.

Respect, Mark Tommy Kaira ZZII. Helaas nooit in productie gegaan. Is een auto met de RB26DETT motor uit de R34 Skyline er in. Had een briljante auto kunnen zijn als ze hem in productie hadden genomen. Er zijn trouwens héél weinig foto's van te vinden op Internet. Vraag me af wat er gebeurd is met die proto. Weet wel dat ASL (Autobacs) uiteindelijk met behulp van Tommy Kaira hun Garayia heeft gemaakt, maar dat weet ik nu even niet 100% zeker.

Ik ben benieuwd naar deze auto. Hoop hem binnenkort wel eens ergens aan te treffen. Als het Ring-seizoen weer in alle hevigheid losbarst zal ie daar vast een keer te zien zijn.

vind het geluid hier niet echt spectaculair te noemen, maar ben pas echt overtuigd als ik een opname(of IRL) kan horen hoe hij full throttle passeert of volgas een tussensprintje trekt...gewoon stilstaand een beetje gassen komt het geluid meestal niet ten goede....
