Club Challenge Class
By its very name it is aimed at the Club enthusiast who has spent time and money developing their road going cars for use on the track, sometimes these vehicles are dual purpose and are competitors daily drivers whereas some are specific track vehicles tha are transported to the events.
The Club Challenge Class does have vehicle technical and safety regulations that must be adhered to and these can be found here.
Club Challenge also has five classes within it that allows entrants to choose a class they would like to compete in and these classes are as follows:
Four Wheel Drive (4WD)
Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
*Normally Aspirated – 3000cc and under
*Normall Aspirated – 3001cc and above
*These classes are not governed by drive train.
Entrants may only compete within one class (for points and trophies) and must choose the class prior to entering the Series/event(s).
Club Pro Class
The next step up from Club Challenge is the Club Pro Class. Vehicles and competitors within this class have proven themselves too fast for the Club Challenge Class. Except for the use of Methanol this class has no technical restrictions but vehicles are required to have a higher level of safety equipment and these can be found here.
This Class does not have drivetrain catergories.
Privateers and professional teams are allowed to enter Club Pro. From a drivers perspective they are required to have passed a test for a MSA National ‘B’ Race licence.
Pro Class
This is mainly where the tuning companies come out to commence battle with their awesome machinery and this Class has now become the benchmark for tuners to showcase exactly what they can achieve with a lot of the top machines putting down lap times that are faster that that seen within BTCC and other established racing formulae.
